About

From Motala to a vineyard in Piedmont, Italy.

The journey here began with a shared passion for food and wine. For several years, we traveled to vineyards across Europe, and over time, an idea began to take shape—to one day create something of our own.

The opportunity came unexpectedly during a dinner in Turin, when Jennie heard about a vineyard that was for sale. Shortly after, we found ourselves standing there.

As the gates opened and we drove down through the vines, it immediately felt like we had found the right place. What started as a dream became reality—and the beginning of something new.

Today, the vineyard is not just a dream, but our everyday life.

About us

Behind the vineyard are Jennie and Pasi Viskari—an entrepreneurial couple with roots in Motala and their hearts in Italy.

Our vineyard is the result of a long-held dream to create something of our own, where we can work close to nature and follow the rhythm of the seasons. For us, wine is not just about production, but about craftsmanship, patience, and the joy of sharing experiences with others.

Jennie Hammer Viskari has a background in an international career within the automotive industry, where she has held leadership roles and worked globally with innovation, business development, and marketing. Her strength lies in connecting technology with human needs—making the complex understandable and creating value through collaboration, curiosity, and the courage to try new things.

Pasi Viskari has over 30 years of experience in running companies and developing businesses within digitalization and industrial processes. He helps organizations grow through innovation, structure, and strategic thinking. His driving force is turning ideas into functioning realities—from vision to execution.

We love the simple things—long dinners with friends, great ingredients, the landscape around us, and the feeling of building something together. Our vineyard is a place where work and life meet, and where we gladly share what we ourselves appreciate most.

For us, wine is not only about taste—but about connection, stories, and the passion behind every bottle.

The wine yard - Cascina Raviola

Cascina Raviola is located in the countryside just outside Pinerolo, at the foot of the Alps. Up here, the landscape is hilly, with vineyards, forests, and open spaces that change with the seasons.

The estate consists of several buildings that have been here for a long time, but have been renovated and adapted over time.

The current building was designed by Guido Drocco, a local architect from the Langhe region in Piedmont. The project was quite complex, as the terrain and site conditions required the structure to be carefully adapted to the landscape.

Rather than leveling the land or building something that stands apart, the design works with what already exists here.

This is reflected in how the house is positioned, how it follows the slope, and how the different parts of the building are connected. The materials were also chosen to blend into the surroundings, both in color and texture.

In 2006, the building received an architecture award from the Ordine degli Architetti in Turin. The award recognized both the quality of the project and its execution, as well as the way the older rural buildings on the estate were given new life without losing their original character.

The architect Guido Drocco is also internationally known for designing the Gufram cactus.

Wine production

The wine production is small-scale and built on craftsmanship at every step.

The grapes are grown at an altitude of 570 meters in graphite-rich soils that give the wines distinct minerality and character. The significant temperature differences between day and night contribute to freshness and elegance.

Much of the work is done by hand, allowing us to stay closely connected to the entire process—from vine to finished bottle.

Our wines also carry a personal story. Several of them are named after Jennie’s grandmother, Birgit—a strong and present figure who always encouraged us to follow our dreams.

Jennie’s own sparkling wine also holds special meaning. Her interest in sparkling wine began early and was inspired by a wine trip to Barcelona, where she heard the story of one of the first female winemakers. Today, the wine is produced using the traditional method, with grapes from the estate.
