Frequently asked questions
Here you’ll find answers to common questions to help make your visit with us easier.
When is the best time to visit?
It very much depends on the kind of experience you’re looking for.
In spring, everything begins to come back to life. It’s green, calm, and fairly quiet here. Summer is warm, and much of life takes place outdoors—dinners, wine, and long evenings. In autumn, we harvest the grapes, and it’s a special time to be on the estate. Winter is quieter, with a focus on stillness, and for those interested, skiing is not far away.
We welcome guests to our estate all year round.
How do I get to your estate?
The easiest way to get here is to fly into Turin.
From there, it’s about a 45-minute drive to reach us in the countryside outside Pinerolo. We are located somewhat off the beaten path, so we recommend renting a car—both to get here and to move around freely during your stay.
The address is:
Hammer Viskari Wines
Cascina Raviola
Via Costagrande 180A, Pinerolo

For nature and excursions, you can take a trip to Frossasco or go skiing in the Alps during winter, with several ski areas within reach.
